About Carly's Warriors Foundation
Carly's Warriors Foundation is a non-profit advocacy organisation established by Jodi Stocker and Lisa Featherstone in support of Carly Gregg. Advocating for a reduced sentence or a new trial following Gregg's conviction and sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Our mission and advocacy
Registered in Mississippi, the foundation actively advocates against sentencing juveniles to life imprisonment without parole, especially in cases involving young people experiencing mental health crises. We believe that Carly Gregg was experiencing severe adverse effects from recently prescribed medication at the time of the incident, and these circumstances should be considered in evaluating her case. Our work is guided by the belief that Carly's late mother, Ashley Smylie, would have wanted rehabilitation and justice.

Meet our founders:
Jodi Stocker and Lisa Featherstone
Jodi Stocker is a dedicated supporter and organiser involved in advocacy efforts for Carly Gregg. She has participated in fundraising, public awareness campaigns, and efforts to support Gregg's legal appeals. Lisa Featherstone likewise works alongside Jodi, organising outreach, coordinating advocacy initiatives, and helping manage the campaign's public presence. Together, they lead Carly's Warriors Foundation with passion and commitment.
Jodi became involved after watching Carly Gregg's trial from beginning to end. The case resonated with her because she has a daughter who experienced a severe adverse reaction to an antidepressant. Personal experience made her more receptive to the defense's argument that medication may have played a role in Carly's mental state on that tragic day.
"My personal experience made me more receptive to the defense's argument that medication may have played a role in Carly's mental state at the time of the crime."

Lisa became involved after she watched the entire trial and was shocked by the guilty verdict and the sentence of life without parole for a 14-year-old. She was motivated by concerns about juvenile justice, rehabilitation, and what she views as a lack of mercy in Carly's case. Meeting Jodi strengthened her commitment to the advocacy campaign
"I was just so disillusioned when the jury came back as fast as they did. I felt physically sick. A medicated child at 14 was made a spectacle on TV and sentenced to be thrown away for the rest of her life"
